The Door in the Wall
We commemorate our 250th show with a Round the World re-telling of the classic H. G. Wells short story “The Door in the Wall”.
I recount a conversation I had with my good friend Lionel Wallace. As a 5-year-old, he used to go on long rambles, and one day he accidentally discovers a beat-up green door set into a long wall. Even though it is in the middle of the city, the door leads to a pastoral, peaceful land stretching to the horizon and peopled with friendly children and panthers.
